• Edit and Plot 2D functions. Plots a given function over a specified range.
• Traffic Simulator, or how freeway traffic jams propagate upstream.
• Plot 2D spline curve. Click to put points on graph, then applet fits a spline. Also available: 3D surface plotting.
• The ideal flow machine. Very nice demonstration of elementary fluid flows.
• The Lorenz equations. The Lorenz system, made famous by atmospheric scientist Ed Lorenz, consists of three coupled ordinary differential equations. This applet shows two 2D views of the complex temporal behavior of this system.

  Hideko Mori's Lorenz application for Macintosh and BeOS provides a three-dimensional look at the Lorenz system.

• Pendulum java applet. Animation of the simple pendulum.
